Deborah Goldberg Environmental Stewardship Scholarship

The Deborah Goldberg Environmental Stewardship Scholarship will be awarded annually to a Finger Lakes High School Senior who is pursuing a career in Environmental Law. 

Dobrah Goldber Scholarship Award The scholarship is in honor of renowned environmental attorney from Earthjustice, Deborah Goldberg, who dedicated much of her career to fighting fracking in NY and stopping a proposed gas storage and transport hub on the shores of Seneca Lake. Applicants residing within the Seneca and Cayuga Lake watersheds may submit a 500 word essay to senecalakeguardian@gmail.com by May 15th of each year, with the award being granted by June 15th.  Scholarship amounts may vary from year to year, but will be no less than $500.00 per year.
