Our Lakes Need a Good Guardian
The Leadership Team of Gas Free Seneca,
responsible for winning the battle against a proposed gas storage and transport hub in the Finger Lakes, has formed Seneca Lake Guardian, A Waterkeeper Alliance Affiliate, the only organization dedicated to actively working to protect the Finger Lakes from dirty industrial projects that could threaten the health of our lakes, our rural community character, the Finger Lakes Brand, or the livelihoods of the small business owners who depend on the lakes for their success. Our lakes are at risk. We need a good Guardian to protect them.
We learned over the weekend that the Torrey Town Board, despite what they said at their last meeting (about holding a special meeting for Greenidge later in the month), has rather quietly MOVED THE MEETING UP TO APRIL 19TH.
Please Join Us for a peaceful, family friendly rally THIS SATURDAY, APRIL 17TH AT 2:00 PM IN DRESDEN

Following an 8 year battle, we defeated a proposed gas storage and transport hub along the shores of Seneca Lake in the heart of the Finger Lakes, which would have jeopardized a drinking water source for 100,000 people and severely damaged the community character of the Finger Lakes region.
